Julys burn out resilience program-another success

I hosted a burn out resilience program yesterday for Optimal Support & the feedback & evaluation was so great.

Much of the evaluation confirmed that those working with some of our most vulnerable members of society just don’t have the knowledge or learning they deserve on how they can understand & better combat workplace hazards like burn-out, compassion fatigue & vicarious trauma. It’s so important even that we understand the components of burnout & stop simply referring to it as such, it really minimizes the very real complexity & nuance.

Some feedback:

"Everyone should do this training!"

"I wish I'd been taught this at uni"

"You made so much sense of what I've been going through"

I received this text from Julia Partridge, director of Optimal Support soon after she had to rush off to catch a flight & it made

My heart sing & my soul more resolute in finding ways to deliver this more broadly.

Thanks for the trust & being such a wonderful group!
